The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about working within the consulting industry with design of machines and plants as well as contributing to the ongoing development and optimization of operations and projects for our customers? RESAB seeks a Project Engineer committed to the technical and practical elements of process plant design and execution. You will be engaged in hands-on tasks, creating and implementing solutions tailored to our clients’ diverse requirements.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
- Project Management: Lead various engineering projects from start to finish, delivering innovative and effective solutions to our clients.
- Technical Analysis and Design: Be able to analyse and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), execute mass balance calculations, and craft specifications and designs that fulfil client needs.
- Process Optimization: Seek out and apply methods to enhance process efficiency, ensure safety, and reduce costs, improving the overall effectiveness of projects.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within our and client’s organisation to develop and implement engineering solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Identify engineering challenges by providing reliable troubleshooting support and developing sustainable strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Guarantee all project outcomes meet the highest quality standards, in line with clients’ goals, schedules, and budgets.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, ready to incorporate innovative practices that benefit our projects.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineer, Technical Designer, Production Technologist, or other relevant education
- Experience in process engineering within food, biotech, pharma, or manufacturing industries, preferred but not a must.
- Strong analytical skills and project management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
- A motivated innovator with strategic thinking skills
- Ability to travel as needed for client-site work.
- Good Norwegian and English proficiency both oral and written.
