The Opportunity:

As RESAB’s clientele grows and our project list expands, we’re looking to bring on board skilled Project Managers to our Oslo office. We have a steady stream of interesting work and need the right people to help manage it effectively.

As a Project Manager at RESAB, you’ll tackle a dynamic and engaging workload, collaborating with a diverse range of industries, and building extensive networks within various organizations. This role grants you significant autonomy, placing you in charge of the comprehensive planning and execution of projects. Your responsibilities will extend to managing project finances, resources, risk assessment, and addressing any project adjustments, all while maintaining continuous, transparent communication with our clients.

Our approach prioritizes direct interaction with clients, which may involve working on-site to foster closer collaboration. The essence of project management with us revolves around dedication, a keen understanding of business, leadership skills, and a commitment to fulfilling project agreements to our clients’ satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget, and timelines.

Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with our services.

Financial Management: Manage project budgets carefully, tracking expenses to keep spending in line with forecasts.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the project team, delegating tasks effectively and supporting professional development.

Quality and Compliance: Maintain high-quality standards for all deliverables and ensure all project activities comply with industry regulations.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and create strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a smooth workflow.

Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders about project status, progress, and changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or other relevant fields. Substantial hands-on experience in project management within relevant industries may compensate for the absence of formal degrees.
• Strong background in engineering projects, with a preference for experience in the food, biotech, pharma, manufacturing or similar sectors
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and client engagement.
• Industry-recognized certifications in project management are a bonus but not a prerequisite.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English.
• Comfortable with occasional travel and flexible to adapt to changing project needs and locations.
